Jadam Liquid Fertiliser (JLF) – this is the all natural and free fertiliser I use in my home garden. No more store bought fertiliser amendments are needed.
It is a technique of Korean Natural Farming. It is made by fermenting organic materials in water with naturally occurring microorganisms, creating a nutrient-rich liquid that feeds plants and improves soil health. It supplies a broad range of nutrients, beneficial microbes, and trace minerals while reducing reliance on synthetic fertilisers.
Typical Ingredients:
- Non-chlorinated water (rainwater or dechlorinated tap water)
- Leaf mould or forest humus (source of beneficial microorganisms)
- Organic plant materials such as:
- Weeds
- Grass clippings
- Crop residues
- Leaves
- Comfrey, nettles, or other nutrient-rich plants
- Optional additives:
- Seawater (trace minerals)
- Molasses or brown sugar (to support microbial activity)
- Fish scraps, bone meal, or other nutrient-rich organic matter depending on the desired nutrient profile
- Even manure from some animals can be used (but be careful with what you produce)
